LIPOSUCTION :PATIENT INSTRUCTION

BEFORE THE SURGERY
1.Do the blood test several days before: Haemoglobin,Leucosit,Diff.count, ESR (LED), Hematocrite, Bleeding Time, Clotting Time,Trombosite, VDRL/TPHA/HbsAg/anti-HIV and routine urine test

2 Plan the transportation carefully, so you didn’t get stuck on the trafic.

3.Don’t take any unapproved medicine by your surgeon several days before.

THE DAY

1.You can take light breakfast (if your liposuction by local anaesthesia), use easy to wear shirt.

2.Bring another panties /bra or brief.

3.You should take a shower at home, put off all the accesories: necklace, ear-ring, contact lenses,ect.

4.Don’t come late to the clinic.

AFTER THE SURGERY

1.The first day you should take a rest at home

2.You should take more mineral water and take all the medicine the doctor give you (antibotic and pain killer)

3.Sometime anaesthetic liquid come out from the liposuction opening.This is normal,just put a regular sanitary napkin outside the dressing.This will stop after 6-8 hours.

4.On the area: don’t take a bath or shower,otherwise there is a risk of infection from the opening sites.

5.Back to the clinic 6-7 days after the surgery.The doctor will put off the stitches,and you can take a shower afterward

6.For the first 2 weeks don’t exercise,otherwise the bruising will increase

7.After the 10^th day, the skin become hardened and uneven, please do a light pressure/massage on the skin.
